By Car

From Weymouth town centre, follow the signs for the South Harbourside. The nearest council car park is at North Quay. A commercially run car park is at Newberry Gardens. One hour free on-street parking is sometimes available on the harbourside.

By Landtrain

A tourist 'landtrain' service operates from Weymouth Beach between Easter and the end of the summer season. Alight at Hope Square, which is 100 metres from Tudor House, 

By Foot or bicycle

From Weymouth Beach proceed towards the Pavilion theatre and turn right to follow the North harbourside around to the Town Bridge (lifting). Cross the bridge and turn left onto Trinity road. Tudor House Museum is along Trinity Street, which is on the right  after 100 metres. Bike racks are available in Hope Square,

Group Tours

Group visits can be arranged throughout the year. School parties are especially welcome, when the tour can be adapted to topics in Key Stage 2 of the National curriculum for the study of Tudor and Stuart times.

Guided Tours

Civic Society volunteers provide guided tours of the house during opening hours, and at other times by arrangement. A visit will provide an excellent starting point for the study of our local history.

A tour of the house gives a fascinating insight into the history of Weymouth in the early seventeenth century during its heyday as a port for trade and exploration. The guides describe the domestic daily life of the times, including furniture and clothing, cooking and serving of food, lighting and candle making
